I loved my rs4 but it just to big for my house. I already have a big car to run outside and then the track closed. What do you think of the epoch. Some of the threads I've been reading people are saying its more of a toy than rc. Whats the quality in your opinion. Because I also think a mini-z might be a hair to big so the only option for me really, is an epoch.

I love it, the quality is great, there are only two downsides to the Epoch, 1. There are really not that many hop up parts. 2. the quality if thr controler is not that great, I would strongly advise getting your hands on a 27 mhz transmitter and swaping crystals. The car its self is great. In fact i like it better than my mini z It never twiches and the detail of the body is incredable.

That makes me feel alot better coming from someone I know that has several differenet kinds of cars. I didnt think for that price it would be "toyish". The body on my rs4 does have some "race" scars on it, not as clean looking as your epoch.

Looks like things got a little messed up. Got to run the epoch last night a bunch on a little make shift track I made in my dining room. I thought it was a blast, much better than bits. Still not a rs4 but at least I can run it in anywhere my house. Wife tried it, she liked better than the the bits but still is not sure she wants one. I guess I have to face the fact that some people just dont love rc as much as I do! I need to improve run time (that really is the only bummer, the thing is so much fun that it just doesnt last long enough) I am happy with the speed though!

I read some place that the optional wall plug for the charger makes it run a little longer. I guess it gives a more consistant source of power, You can also double charge it.

I was wondering about the double charging. I know you can do it with the bits but I didnt want try on the epoch until I found out if it was O.K. The wall charger is a must. I probably close to totally using up one set of batteries already. Lots of places to run it.
