It's a super tz chassis. Has a rev tuned motor which is like a 1.7. Too slow. That plasma dash motor looks yummy. 2.5 or so right?

my plasma dash is dead. the worst part is that it has acrbon brushes and u cant use them on other motors because the thing is installed weird. i find that the ultra dash and the hyper dash 2 works really good. the atomic dash is fast too but slow in accel.

don't be an jerk, sarcastic, big ass, don't bitch
Well binaryterror, r'nt u a conceited prick!!
Thanx 4 the back-up Dustn & Ugh!
Mini-x "Includes fully assembled car with clear body, mini servo, updated ESC-100, updated receiver RX-100, and crystal set.
Requires 27MHz transmitter, charger, and paint."
& costs $95US! - bit of a price difference.
Besides 1/24 IS too big. Mini 4WD is 1/32 @ least.
& I'm not being sarcastic - some of u guys r doin way better things than I'm capable of, or possibly would think of.
I thought that's the idea of a forum - collective ideas - 2 heads r better than 1... that sort of thing.
Crawl back under ur rock binarytosser.

Hey i won't be a jerk and flame you, as you just did me.
I just pointed out a simple fact.
When i seen "Y doesn't 1 of u geniuses work out how to r/c one?!", i thought, wow why don't you try to make one. Mini 4wd are not really popular, especially since the RC business has taken off. Plus i was thinking of increasing the awareness of the Mini-X.
You state that $95 plus about $40 for a controller is too much for a truly innovative RC car. Total to be about $135, plus a charger, as the $95 kit includes a 5 cell battery pack.
Well lets think, since the Mini 4WD is on or off with out any sort of steering you are going to need a TINY ESC (about $60), a Tiny Receiver (about $50), and a micro servo ($20). Also you need the exact same $40 controller again to control the new car, thats about $170 (+ the cost of the Mini 4WD) so far, and we haven't even begun to make the thing steer, which will most likely need some parts and or custom fab, which will cost you either time or money. I can only assume you would want this to be totally proportional and not like the bits, which have huge fall backs due to their on/off method of controller switching.
Can it be done? i bet it could
Will it be as cheap or cheaper than a Mini-X or other 1/32 RC (audley/tin racers) and don't forget about the 1/43rd Epoch (~$100), which compared to my Mini 4wd is about the same speed.
[Sidenote] Mods this should probably be put into the "Other RC" forum, since it has nothing to do with Bits[/Sidenote]
