My Hot Rod S2000
When I bought my Microsizer Sport I never planned on really using the clear Orange body, but I was using it to practice painting today, and I think it came out really good.
I've done some really nice flame jobs on larger scale cars, but I was intimidated doing one on such a tiny car. It came out better than I expected, but I think I could do better with a little practice.
You like?
Here's my second try at a flame job

Thanks for the compliments.
DriveWRX, your flames look really good too, but you always do great work!
The wing is from the Zips Zaps F&F body set. It comes with a couple extra wings.

hmm...besides the orange window that clashes with the silver, that thing is TIGHT. What did you use? silver and grey paint, with a brush? also, did you paint it by hand, or with a stencil?

I used Dupli-Color automotive touch up spray, in Silver, Medium Charcoal, and Clear coat. It's acrylic laquer that you get at the car parts store.
I did the flames with masking tape, and an Exacto knife. I put the tape on the body. Rough sketch the flames in red. Then I put the tape on glass, touch up the flames in black, and then cut them out. The tricky part is sticking them back on straight, without tearing them.

Sorry, only have 2 like that, and they're both currently occupied.

I know! I was thinking of what I could match the Orange with. I thought Lime Green, and Purple maybe? I gave up on matching the Orange. I'm debateing over blacking them out, but I think it looks kinda cool, like a Matchbox car from the 70s. They always had Orange windows.
Here's my 3rd try. Getting better, but I think I need to get some thinner tape to get the results I want. This 3M stuff is pretty thick. hard to cut contours, and I'm getting build up around the edges. Need some Pactra stuff from the hobby store.

The Civic I spray painted from the back, just behind the car, so the paint wouldn't hit the front. That's how I get the airbrushed effect.
