The only body WWS offers is a Corvette for now. It looks as if the longer Micro RS4 bodies will fit the car.If you guys like you can pre order the 1:18 by sending paypal to me jeff@intrepidrc.com and note the 1:18 pre order. I also expect the Aktiv speed control back in stock this week

B, I will check on the HMT 10 for you. IM not sure what to do about the pre order as I really don't like to do that so I will just save a 1:18 for you and D.S.I. It could be awhile so dont worry about the pre order. Here is a few more pics! WWS 1:18 & 1:24 cars side by side.

Yeah definately save one for me irc. That thing looks so sweet.

Does the motor mount handle 180 motors as well (i might be stuck racing in the RS4 class)?

What is a good yet small 75MHZ AM receiver? I found an old Futaba Magnum Junior, and it has all the cool settings and such, might have to make a change from the 27mhz AM since the old Traxxas controller is kinda broken (long story about a young kid who took it apart and forgot 1 item...argh)

Do I need a special size servo for the 1/18th car?

OHHH i am pumped about this car....

B, The 180 motor should bolt up to the motor mount no problem. The old Hitec shreader was a good rx if you can find one.IM sure the RS4 class will ban you after a few races. I would run the Hitec HS81 MG servo in the 1:18 or the 1:24 car. The HS 55 would be to small for the 1:18.

You know in the first pics of the 1/18th seems to have an HMT10 if you look really close. At least it looks alot like what i have (had to remove the factory heatshrink).

I found a local hobby store with track, they seem to be the best rc hobby store in my 15 mile radius. Thjey had many r/c's ive never heard of. One was called a Matiz or something seemed to be about 1/16?

They had a DRR for $58 and a Spec2 Acura for $79! They had monsterous amounts of monster sized gas rc's from trucks to cars, even a few 1/6th sizes!

The track is much to big for the X or the epoch, however the guy said they routinely run mRS4's for a class...i mentioned about the WWS and he had no idea, but he threw up an offer i couldnt refuse...when i get my WWS 1/18th i can race it stock against a mild mRS4, if i win i get a free car kit...anything they have so long as it is not RTR!!!!

Jeff i can't wait to get a full review from you on this 1/18th car...and one for myself!

It is Larry's Performance R/C (cars and track)

Located in Sterling Heights, Mi.

The guy was not the owner just a customer, he was listening in to me and the owner talk about the WWS. He is a ****y guy, or so it seemed.

I'm just happy i found a local hobby store that isn't all about trains or everything hobby.

Their prices seemed fair for a LHS, but i have no clue on the big scale things he had, they seemed pretty decent.

**Waiting on a 1/18th and 1/24th review**

B, I just spoke with the HMT 10 manufacture and he said it should work fine with the speed 300. He said the maximum current of the Speed 300 is 7-8 amps using a 6 cell battery. The HMT 10 is good for 10 amp he says. That is amazing to me for haw small that esc is. He now makes that unit to handle 20 amps!
