I own a 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX Turbo AWD. It's has the basic bolt ons with a couple psi increased boost pressure. My best quarter mile is 13.2@99mph. Since then, I have added a front mount intercooler, increased the boost another 2 psi and fine tuned the fuel delivery. It should run mid to high 12s on the 1/4 mile. No internal motor work done, no upgraded turbo, no NOS, no port work either and the engine has 156,000 miles on it right now.
Peace!

Hmmm...not bad, but a little slow. If you made it rear wheel drive, better 1/4 mile time...

Don't need RWD to be fast. I have no issues with burning the tires and peeling out. Once I launch, I'm out!
Remember, I'm a 4cyl with no major mods, but you have your opinions and I have mine. It's all good!

Well I wasn't meaning to be harsh...it just seriously looks like a model sitting on a table with the window open or sum'm. I mean that black at the bottom of the car looks like the same kinda base that some of my models have. If he actually has that car then coo' and I'm sorry.
Anywho...as far as it still being the fastest street legal car...not sure. I think it is but...who knows. But even if it's not I would still very much like to own that one in the photo I posted. Anyone care to donate some money to my Mclaren fund? LOL

i am willing to bet he does not have that car. haha
i would seriously doubt anyone that can afford a $800,000 car would really be into $30 micro r/c's especially when you look @ his date of birth.

The Jaguar XJ220 had a limited production line of 275 cars. It was never sold in the US and cost $800,000.
Top end: 215mph
0-60: 3.8
1/4 Mile: 11.7 at 125mph
Just trying to prove it's very hard to own one

actually, it prolly isn't the fastest 4-wheel automoblie now. There is that 10-cylinder 4 wheel-motorcycle type automobile capable of hitting speeds over 400 mph!
As for being the fastest car, I think so. 0-60 in 2.3 seconds. that's hella fast!

Here's me starting a burnout at englishtown during a muscle mustang and fast fords magazine photo shoot. There's a video somewhere where u can hear my car launching. it sounds like a jet engine. gotta love the sound of a vortech supercharger.
goal for this spring: rebuild tranny and diff, break into the 12's(yes, it's a V6)
First Place, 2002 Mustang Modular Shootout at Cecil County Dragway, MD.
unfortunatly, i roasted my tranny that day. but it was worth it.
