the mr2 would be good, but from the people that have them for scca, they say that drifting is hard on the camber of the car...and that it tends to "kick back" alot when turning hard...thats why u dont really see people drifting them much

how did you paint your trueno? and how did you get the red w/ black schem (sp)
did you spray the body with red and hood off, then use paint brush to get the black'? im really interested in your trueno..looks very nice!
