Hmm....maybe.....No, it would have to be wired correctly to get the tires to spin.... Is the sound of the motor higher? Or normal. It could be that your batteries aren't charging it right.... But I'm not sure

motor sounds higher, I took everything apart and brought it back to stock both batteried charge properly individually I had used two diiferent colored batteries from clones so I thought they might be different. I then took identical clones and used the same batteries wired it up and put it on to charge the engine roars while its charging but when I take it off it crawls then dies. Im lost here this is not making sense to me. Help Please

Solved

Ok I had to figure this out before I went to bed because it was kickign my @ss. I was following the direction on QFM site and guess what The diagrams are wrong. To correct the problem I I soldered a wire from the negative terminal in the car instead of the positive terminal and folded down the negative terminal and put the battery in normally with a wire sodered to the negative end of the terminal. I then closed it up and ran the wire from the negative terminal to the negative side of the second battery and then ran the negative end that was connected to the battery in the car to the positive side of the second battery and voila it worked and held a charge. while searching through the board I saw a few post where people had tried the mod off Quest for Madness with no success. here is a link from a site with the correct wiring diagrams for all that couldnt follow. hope this helps some of you http://foy.foy.com/minircmod/moddocs...attinstruc.htm

I agree. Now the only thing is to tighten the steering so it handles like my Zip.
