Decreasing Speed - donuts when turning
I have a Nissan Gloria. did a dual cell mod for runtime not speed. It came with a 1.0 motor but that turned out to be a bum. Stopped working in 2 days. So now I put in my Panther motor but its a little too fast for my track. It just spins out when turning. Any ideas on decreasing speed other than buying new motors or something? Thanks. Here's the car by the way:

I did a dual cell mod, and it did the same thing....
Put two turn springs in one car... it worked perfectly for mine, so the wheels come back quicker. The car doesnt do as many doughnuts. It goes perfectly streight and.....it just works great :-) hope this helped

no no no he didnt mean the spring suspension.what he meant was the thin return spring that is located on top of the stering magnet.he used two insted of just one.i also have a dual cell and did the same thing,it works so good i use this mod in all of my cars even the stock single cell bit's.

Not enough weight in the front. There are things you can do to contradict that (dual steeringsping mod) but I'd add some junk in the front trunk (make sure whatever the junk is that its not magnetic.

things ive done to keep my car from flipping.
suspension springs.
the more weight over the rear axle the better. this helps you from spinning out on slick floors.
i also taped a dime(which is 2.3 grams i think) over the rear end. but ive decided i like the speed better which leads to the most important thing needed to keep from flipping.
muh fah kin skill. really the more time you spend driving it instead of tryin to put "carbon fibre" stickers on your beast, the less you will have flipped over cuz you learned how to contain it.

The "infinate speed potentiometer" mod is the only way to go if you want to fine-tune your speed. You just turn the little screw a little bit, and blam... it is easy to adjust up or down depending on your track slickness.
Just get the swp-11(i think) from allcorp.com and run it in line with the power wire to the motor. Don't do it like the mod states by running it in line with the power to the pcb. If you do this, you turn the speed down, and your steering goes down too.
I"m thinking about doing 2 of them. One to steering and one to the motor. Speed up steer down, speed down steer up.
