Wow! Thanks for the pics.

I'd be interested in the performance of those knobbies on an unmodified Bit.

Question for ya, Dutch

I just picked one of those up... it's pretty cool. Do you figure that charger should work for Bit/MS cars? I removed the front tabs from the charger base so that my MS car could make contact, but the charger would not turn on. I wonder if there is a simple fix, or if I should try the charger mount from a MS controller. I like the Motor Works base idea a lot and would like to make it work for my MS cars. If you have any ideas, I'm willing to hack up my Motor Works base to try them out.

Thanks,

Hue

I just tried to charge a bit clone on the MW charger and it works,
But you have to make good contact on the charging contacts.

The Bit charger puts out 3 volts

The MW puts out 4.5 Volts

I'm not a battery expert but I think you my fry your battery after long term use

Just drill a small hole in the top of the MW charger and run the wires from a Bit charge pad to the + and - on PCB

Did you have to modify the charger base to get it to work on the clone? Like, removing those front tabs?

Hey everyone, I actually just picked up the same car last night at Walmart.
Runs nice, motors a lil' loud, overall a nice product! Which was surprising to me since I have come to associate the word Walmart to be synonomous wth crap.

Anyone who wants one in Philly area should go to the Franklin Millls Walmart, they had about 10 left.

Yeah same here in Philly, I was actually out buying Valentines cards, but some how I ended up in the R/C section and spotted them. There went an extra $14.

Did you see the other bodies available? All I saw was what looked like a celica. Wasn't too sure.

I just picked up one of these new Motorworks cars. I found a truck, they had orange and purple ones. I have been looking for a truck. They actually run pretty good, cool.
