Jowlz, Ive got a tomy chassis w Panther PCB, n it works well!
I think tomy PCBs wheelie easier tho, possibly due to a higher power delivery?

Same as Scotty I have a Panther PCB in a Tomy and I think it runs fine, with no real discernable difference in performance.

the only increase i see is the range. 27mhz microsizer = 8foot
57mhz cyclona = 15-20foot(with antenna under body)

i dont get it?...
how can you be capable of changing the pcb into a microsizer chassis... and you can't even increase the range of a bitchar-g?
increasing the range is one of the easiest mods... maybe not for the 57mhz if you are from the bay area, CA...
everyone is entitled to their opinion... and you can post it as many times as you want... whatever tickles your pickle...
but its just hard to believe that you guys are actually having fun with a clone... its not about speed... its all about the steering...
i still havent seen a track or raced on a track that can handle anything faster than a 2.6
speed is cool for drag racing... your really dont need to steer for anything... but it defeats the purpose of it being radio controlled... you might as well mess with your tamiya slot car or bitracer...
unless you can prove that you have skills rather than speed
with your super cool modifed clone...
then i dont think you are impressing anyone...
which is pretty obvious by all the replies...

cyclonas steer about 90% as well as tomys. the only difference mechanically is the tomys are tighter spec and better qc. i gota say that the tomy car mechanically is superior but not by that much.
if i had no cars and i could buy two cyclonas for 10$ a piece or one microsizer for 20$ id buy the cyclonas.

Hey hopper, I hate to tell ya but my Panther handles just as good, if not better than my Bit's.
In fact when it comes down to a complex course I'll use the Panther fitted with a 2.6 before my Bits. Why? The transmitter just is flat out better for me.
Don't knock the clones, where else can you get cheap parts?

I like having all my instructions in japanese) and Big "G" on my controllers~ My friends clone stomps me if im not racing at my best. But the only thing on is clone that is clone parts is the pcb and controller. Keep the inovators ie tomy/hobbico in business by buying a few of the originals and then buy the clones for cheap parts. Tomy has the wild-gs the 2 speed turbo boost and they will have more even better models of high quality first and fastest. Support the inovator first imo. The clones are only as good as things hobbico has alrdy done

Hey Mets,
theres nothing wrong with picking up a quality "clone" or two @ $5 a piece.
My Panther is the best car I have right now, that hasn't been modded somehow.
In fact it's run so well since I removed I took it out of the bullet that I have decided not to mess with it, in fear I might actually make it worse.
Stop the hate playa, and pick a real team to support too.
Go Phils!

Yeah voom, I have a Rally course I built. And a road course as well that wraps around my bar.
As for any other courses theres not much around ... yet.
As for parts check out Allied Hobbies up at Roosevelt Mall in the Northeast...Cottman & Bustleman Avenues. The have Shen's behind the counter as well, just ask.
