A Zip Bit?

I was just wondering how hard it is to get bit motors to work on a zip chassis... Zips look kinda cooler cause of the larger space betwen the wheels, but bits have way better "internals" I think.....

I was wondering how posible it would be to pretty much run a Bit inside a Zip Zap chassis...... I know lots of people pcb swap, but I mean more swapping, heh

if anyone has done this before please coment

If you just asking if Bit motors fit in a Zip Zap chassis, then yes they do. I swap my motors back and forth all the time.

I heard about extending a bit chassis. Easier than PCB swap & you can do a dual cell @ same time

I don't know if it would be easier. You'ld have to extend the chassis and swap the front knuckles. You'ld also have to be somewhat exact in your measurements if you were planning to use zip bodies. The pcb swap would be easier if you are comfortable with soldering.

I stretched a bit to fit a Fast and Furious Mitsubishi Eclipse.

Here's another pic, I put 2 standard cells in the belly and one on the rear deck. This stretch job is (because of my higher output clone PCB) is faster than my 3std cell Microsizer dB, even though it is longer. My recomendation is that you get a clone PCB, solder it into a Zip Zap chassis, and do 3 cells in the belly. It would be fast enough for any normal racing. Oh yeah, and put on a potentiometer like 'actofgod' did. They are a must for dialing in your speed-to-track chemistry.
