I dont know if it is true or not but I want to get one eventually. So I would also be interested in knowing if it was true, If it is I will be buying one tonight instead of waiting. So if anyone knows, or can find out, PLEASE POST IT. Thanks.

After seeing this thread, I went through some Japan forums
to see if anyone was talking about it. All they're saying is
that the Trueno is sold out practically everywhere and that it's
very hard to come by compared to the NSX-R and the Pitworks.
Hopefully they're not planning to discontinue the car, but if they
are, I would suspect it's because they're going to replace it
with something else. Maybe a Trueno with racing wheels AND
lights! (I wish)

Well, I couldnt stand the thought of not being able to get a Trueno, so I went ahead and ordered it. It should arrive on Thursday (I paid an arm and a leg to get it delivered by 2nd day air.) I have to say I have had a lot of hobbies in my life and These have given me the most enjoyment. Everyone tells me I should grow up, But I dont see what the point in living is if you cant have fun. I have spent $360+ on cars and controllers, $75 on NiMh batteries and a 1 hour charger. I have also started planning a scale track with realistic scenery and road hazards. I have it set to be about 8 feet by 6 feet. I plan on putting in at least one jump, one overpass, and some offroad type trails (not to bumpy of course.) I have talked with a friend who built a similar track in London and he spent $800 in US money to do it. I am hoping to get by on $200, But I dont know if I can or not. Well, I kind of got off topic here, I just wanted to tell everyone that if they are worried about getting a Trueno, Cosmo Games still has them for $49.95. Later guys!

Adam,
I agree with you about really diving into hobbies and enjoying it!When it comes to DigiQs, I can usually sense when someone is about to give me the 'aren't you a little too old' line, and I head
them off with "the designers of these cars are well in their 40s and 50s and from a technical perspective, the cars are a symbol of what's to come in the field of microtools for medical surgery etc'
I pull most of that out of thin air, but I do believe it to be true, and it's very effective!
With that aside, thanks for pointing out the Trueno's still available at Cosmogames! Hopefully I'll have some free money this coming payday and I'll nab that car
