Since I won't be banned, I'll share this with you, anyone with experience please help.
As some of us already know, this motor's wiring is wierd, it's not like the normal motor which wires wrap aroud magnents on the armature. This motor's wires are just there, no magnents on the armature. So in order to wire the motor, I wrapped taps around the armature (see picture below). The magnent is in the center, not on the side like normal motor. This cause a few problems when I want to complete tear down and rebuild a motor. And this motor is very small, uses very thin wires, so any increase in wire size will greatly reduce the rounds needed for it to produce the same output and much higher spped. Now, I have found some better wires, (red wires in the picture below) and I will attemp to do a complete rebuilt on my friend's broken 3.8, so XeroGT-R, if you really have experiece please share it.
Mods so far:

well what we need first are armatures. i suggest getting the OEM motors with the 3 arm. i am not sure how to wind the other one. as for the soldering tab. i dont use solder, when u do use solder, u add more weight to the tab which makes it uneven. unless you have a comm lathe, then go for it. as for the magnet wire, use 44 guage. when my 44 guage comes, ill do a tutorial to rewind mini motors. in the meantime, post away

Hey Project RC, Have u ever considered taking the wires from a bigger motor? I cut the wire from a old broken motor near the solder part and used those wires as u can see below

Im not sure theyll make a difference but they are just as thin as the original wires

XeroGT-R, how do you round the wires? I'm having trouble rounding them because the armature is so tiny.
BTW this is the wire I'm using right now.

I highly doubt it's illegal to wind a motor, or everyone who owns a 1/10 would be in jail. The smaller motors use thin, small wires with high resistance, while higher motors use thicker wire or less of it. My dead 3.5 has thicker wire and a stronger magnet than my zipzap 1.0. If somone could just figure out how to wind something that small...

All non-American cars use DOHC motors. They make more sense.
As for the winding, I have an idea. If i could find some kind of glue that would hold the wire's shape, i could make that little coil.
