Wow, this thred is really taking off!
as for me:

Name: Michael Ward
Age: 19 (May 27th 1983)
Location: well... thats kinda a long story. I am originally from Barrhead Alberta (about an hour and a half north of edmonton) But I currently live in Tokoro, Hokkaido Japan. Moved here in September just for a change of pace, I live for free, eat for free and make money working (doing nothing... heh) Will be returning home in april, and maybe moving to Vancouver in september
Look: I dress in mostly hip hop clothes and some skate gear, as I am a hip hop dancer and used to aggressive inline.
Hobbies: Number one hobbie is Dance, I have taken formal lessons in all forms of dance since i was in grade three, but expertise in primarily Hip Hop and tap. My dance takes me to lessons in Vancouver and Los Angelas every summer. Hope to become a teacher/choreographer. Anything to do with computers pretty much, I have two Desktops and my Vaio Laptop. One Desktop is old, other is top of line as i made it myself, and the Laptop is number 2 on sonys top of the line list, heh. Lets see, what else? I love all asspects of design, Digital and not, I have been an artist most my life in pencil, and now working on 3D. Since the age of 4 when i got my first R/C Truck I have been hooked, I have three vehicles at the momment, but dont drive them as they are out dated... hope to get a t-maxx upon re-entering canada.
Bits: One regular booster kit, One 4 band controller and The AM set..... I only like real Bit's, lol

maybe im a little late to be joining, but im Doug, im 17(18 in may

) living in Red Deer and me and my friends have built a track in my basement. im gonna have my first big race here, $5 to enter and outa a couple of races the top three will get the spoils....so far, my asian heritage and interests has been passed onto my friends, over the past year, i've gotten my friends into GUndams, and now some of them are buying their own mini RC's to customize and race in my first ever grandprix

oh yea, next year im goin to Calgary and necoming a electical engineering technologist at DeVRY. with my scholarship, so the guys in calgary, once im there im gonna bring my track and the races shall being

gotta supe up my WRX a little more first tho

actually there is no better time than now to be joining, we have just been a group of p[eople posting for a long time, but now we are making an actual "club"........i think. So you made it just in time for its "birth" heh

Pie: Im very curious about this custom decals things, lol... I have a digital photo printer that may come in handy

I havnt used ot or baught it, but i got it for christmas... (i get to pick out one of my choice when i get home) you should check this out by the way. I want someone to try it, but i dun wanna ship it to japan, heh. InkJet Decal Kits

- 4 3.2 or higher nonr tomy motors if i can find em, heh

Ralliart:
- 1 Mobil 1 NSX Racing Body if i can find it (you just want one body, did I understand right?)

Dieselboy:
- Find info on the Plantraco Rover
- Motors if i can find them

for those interested, I am adding a Bit Section to my site, not much there yet, but I hope to keep it updated with all sorts of fun stuffs

v2oracle, welcome! =) i'll be printing out one of those banners reaal soon, trying to get a pic of it and all... im thinkin of getting a race or two started over here, but maybe when it gets warmer and not so much snow on the ground..

heh, the club is just starting up all right... it mgiht be a while before we actually get an active identity, but it'll get here sooner or later =)

Swavey that decal paper's seriously cool... unfortunately, i blow with that kinda stuff... no skills whatsoever! i'll get the banners out to everyone after a while, but the decals i cant be too sure about... actually, i dont even have a color printer

do you think you could try your hand at it when you get back? the best graphics i can do is hand drawing (pixel by pixel) hirigana in MS paint...

Ohhhh, i just found out that the hobby shop that i get my bit's stuff for, is getting in colored wheels!, coooool, i'll get those, and then a wrx shell, and start my first moding on my wrx shell. (since i really dont want to wreck my AM set)

What are your guy's future mods that you have planned for ur bits/ms?

1.Moding the WRX shell
2.Getting the LED lights
3.ATTEMPT to lower the car

holy crap! u got colored metal rims?! sweet!!

i got a dual cell coming in from dieselboy (he's down in calgary too), some NiMH batteries, a lot of cosmetic mods that i've already done, and im gonna lower my bit once i get the nerve... lol =)

i would try the headlights, but im a little tight on time these days... maybe in a couple weeks

if you want crazy, absolutely nuts mod help, ask dieselboy... him and that monster dual cell WRX... whoa...

and pie, i'm just getting the colored tire set...not the whole rims and stuff...lol, i should've been more clear on that. But i know the guy in the hobby shop so well, he'll just spray paint the rims the color i want, and it looks SUPER nice. It looks just like the Initial D sets' rims. i'll show you it once i get my digital camera back from a friend. (but the car itself is pretty plain)

oo.. still, the foam bit-charg tire set... nicer than what i got here! i got the bit racer/microsizer (not the same thing, but same tireset... )

sweet jebus... i HATE my bit!! arg she freaks me out so bad..

first off, the tire mod works well, but slows down the bit (they're uneven), and they make the car look like ass. second, i put normal tires back on and well, it wouldnt steer good... no input to the controls, and 2 feet into acceleration, it donuts... ><"

i take apart the steering, striaghted the springs *again* and set it down.. even worse than b4... swap in the 3.0 for less torque and tirespin, a little better, still bad... then i DROP it.. like 5 feet.... Pure accident, omg omg omg scares the crap outta me... pop the steering knuckle back in, and it steers straight... liek straighter than Ever... swap in the 2.6, burns bit-rubber, steers straight... maaaannn... my heart's gettin too old for this...

on the lighter side of things, i got some pictures oif the banner on my celica... it's not very nice, cuz my printer's acting up... but it aint gettin much nicer... u'll understand once you see my printer

ugh... damn chinese chocolate snack... so... rancid...

Wow, seems like you had some troubles with ur bit at the beginning? lol. Mine just doesnt go straight, and i have no clue how to make it go straight (hense, the newbiness of me towars tiny r/c cars) err, i got my digital camera back, my friend dropped it off abit ago. i'll show u my super stock R34.....haha...and i spray painted the windows abit, just a light tint.

Ohh how i need the WRX shell, then the moding begins!

and someone teach me how to change the back wheels up to the front......cuz i cant remove the back wheels from the axle. I tried pulling many times......just wouldnt come out, and if i cant even get the back wheels off the axle....i'm not going to even bother with the front wheels...bahhh someone teach me!!....please?
