apparently, the stock magnet on Tomy's and MS's are already REM's.
someone on this board already tested both mags w/ a Gauss meter [i think that's what it's called ] and the stock mag was only like 100 Gauss weaker than the REM, but definitely stronger than ceramic mags.

Use a knife to cut off the melted area, or file it off. I always thouht that melting it too much was overkill. All you need to do is melt a very small section so it's no longer perfectly round on the top.
So, if it's normally an O shape on top, melt just enough on one area to make it a Q shape, not all over to end up with a mess like a muntd @ shape.

It's really easy.
You have to get the spring from another steering assembly, so you'll see how it goes back on.

I have several steering springs, and know very well how they go on by themselves. I just can't figure out how to put two of them on. Do they just go on like usual, but two instead of one? I was under the impression that they crisscrossed or something?

This doesnt make steering pin too tight and make steering stop before full turn tho? If not Ill have to try as well. Only thing I have trouble with is the steering in these things. Guess only way to find out is test it. However steering pins are like gold where I am. Dont like nor can make good quality ones myself. Gunna have to buy a bunch of clones just for pins, cheaper then buying off most sites~

That was a DRAWING, not a pic. And it didn't show how the springs go TOGETHER, they were on opposite sides of the drawing. It give NO clue how to put them on... can someone just snap a quick pic of this please?

Guys, this isn't brain surgery!
The second spring goes on just like the first one, simply on top of the first one.
It sits on top of the first spring, installed the exact same way.
I really can't make it any easier.
And yes, that drawing is of no help whatsoever.

So the springs DON'T Cross, like in the drawing. I THOUGHT SO! That's why I was so confused. I wasn't confused until I saw that drawing... LOL. OK, so you just install two springs the exact same way you would install ONE. Got it.
