I think your dream car would blow up...
Or engulf itself in flames that will bring it to a fiery, combustable death...

It's not illegal to rewire you motor, BUT the moderators will ban you from this forum, I saw a motor rewire post, and the poster was banned.

Why were they banned? If they got banned for that, shouldnt everyone that modded their cars with dual cells, antennas, etc, be banned as well?

rewinding YOUR motor is not illegal. posting instructions to REWIND YOUR MOTOR should not be illegal to. but running a modded motor in a bit char-g race is. so tiny, do you ban people for posting winding methods on these forums? and i believe hacking into the pcb is even worst and yet its still posted on here? we shall hear a reply soon as i hope not getting banned for saying this. because this is rediculous!

just finished taking 4 winding off of each of he 3 sections of the motor. VERY HARD. I have lots of experience with small electronics but this was an exception. Basically you have to unsolder the wire on each section of the motor. Unwind it by hand and then solder it back on. Sound easy........well the solder joints are about the size of a ball point pen tip (the actual ball inside the tip) and are very hard to solder. I needed an extra set of hands but it didn't turn out that well. I might try it again, but for the average modder, i doubt they coudl get this to work successful.
Also, if you take alot of the winding off (as XeroGT-R explained) you would gain speed and loose torque. So basically it would have worse starting ability that a 3.8 (most say they have to push them to get them started with stock gears) so imagine a 6.0?!?!?!

So how we doing people? I guess all those lame excuses about not being able to share is now conquered. So everything is settled. Maybe this can be a sticky.

I dunno if this being sticky would be that great... Considering some think it's illegal (I'm not one of them)...
