My brother-in-law had an early T-Maxx. There was a problem with the gas tank primer (deleted in later models) and something with the piston or crank case cracking. Traxxas was replacing them under warranty. He bought one a couple of months ago and it was a LOT easier to run than the older one. He just sold it a few days ago though.

LOL, I would if I didn't need money bad right now, sorry bro. But I'm prolly gonna replace everything with cheap aluminum parts and sell it on ebay. I'll let everyone on this board know when it goes up for sale cuz it'll prolly go for cheap seeing as I had to rebuild it. Don't worry tho, it'll be a quality job, I've been into RC's for a while now!
