ok that is a 20 watt bulb and here is a camera light that is only 3watts so picture somthing bigger than this and even the light in this 3watt'r would be too big. but you did give me an idea  what about the lights in a maglight's? those are 3V and the same size as a small led.
I think the sony ones are far too big and would use up too much power to be usefull

so how exactly are you planning on getting 20 watts of power into a bit (for those of you who don't know the watt is a unit of power calculated from the equation P = V * I where P is power, V is potential difference or voltage, and I is current, so to power that bulb you might need 40 Volts at 0.5 Amps to get the most out of it)

thats why i want to look for some maglite bulbs with a dual cell mod they would run pretty nice

Although you would have to peak charge to get much life out of it, unless your planning in piggy-backing a couple AA's.
