Oh ya...

I tried another method on this one to try and get away from the black body lines.
Another user on this forum stated that the black lines make them look cheap(or something like that)... I somewhat agree that they don't look natural..

This time I hand painted shadows in the cracks with darker orange and red-browns to give some deffinition.

I hollowed the vents out with a dremel and then cleaned them up with tiny files. The slot on the body is gone and the front tab on the chassis has been changed. I shortened it to fit up inside the body and go into a new slot I carved on the inside of the body. Actually... everything needs to be shaved to lower the Celica body...

I like the color, original. Decals are clear and crisp as usual!
And I like your idea for the panel lines, I'll have to try it!

Was this based on a real car, like your Lancer?
