Hally,
I used to drive a gamma goat when I was in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany.
I have also seen that model on the website. It is mostly hand made!

It is not a fantasy!
That Unimog really exists! It is built by Thorsten!

Cool water crossing hally!!
Are those nude sunbathers?
I am still sifting through your info on the receiver. It looks like I'm going to have to buy a new transmitter. I am chasing Overlanders link for parts now. It may be a while before I get to put them together but I want to get the parts now. Two of the trucks I have to build are actually 1/79. Close enough for me.

That last pic is awesome!!!
One corner of my HO world is going to have a train tunnel. I was going to build part of my TTTT course on that hill.
I think I am going to build some extra courses too. A couple 2'x2' sections linked by some of those bridges would be great.
How steep a climb will these make? I want to know how to make the hillside over the tunnel.

I was stationed at Herzo Base Near Nurenburg and Erlangen.
I was there between 1983 and 1985. When Ronald Raygun was president, and the Cold War was hot.
Before the Berlin wall came down.

Hi
>>>>>yes i know but there is no real 6 unimog wheeled<<<<<
The green 6 wheel Unimog realy exist. It is used by a wine-farmer in austria. OK, the original is 6-wheel drive and using realy 2 steering axles.
My little green Unimog is also 6 wheel drive, but I am steering like a tank, powering the left or right wheels.
If you want to build a good offroad truck. So start with a "Roco 5tonner MAN" or another 2 wheel drive car.
This one has a smaller turning diameter and climbs also every hill.
The 4 wheeler often have problems with the gears and the steering front axle.
To get more power to the ground, so you can use soft silicon wheels.
It's is more fun to with a working 2 wheeler than repair every few minutes a hightech 8wheeler ;-))
best regards
Thorsten
