RE: Third Battery???
Hi everyone. I heard that adding a thrid battery to your controller will give you better reception. Is that true? Also, if I add a third battery to my controller, can I charge my bit on my controller? Or will I have to go back to using two batteries again to charge my bit... any help would be very much appreciated! Thx!

Sounds about right. The controller can take up to 5v without having to take a soldering iron to it as far as I understand. The increased power will increase your transmitting power and should improve the range and reception.. im considering doing this for my crappy stuttering clone. Although, with a bit of tweaking of the receiver pot i did manage to improve reception slightly.
As for charging it, 3 batts prolly wont kill your batt, but not so healthy. I'd recommend you continue using just the two for charging (or a different controller)
Let us know if improves your reception if you try it.

OH, I think your referring to the Cripple Capacitor. That's not what I'm talking about. The cripple cap is a cool mod that I have already done, but I also remember reading that adding a third battery would further increaase range.
