My Lowering Mods
OK. Here's the info you want...
Lowering Mods
Look for "Lowering Mods" & "Grill Work".
While you're there, check out the rest of Admiral's Lair!
(Tiny, hope that's OK with you! If not, I'll delete the link.)
It's pretty basic. Hopefully you can understand my instructions!
E-mail me or post if you have any questions!

Sorry, I thought I mentioned that...
I used Loctite Quicktite Super Glue Gel. Comes in a blue & silver dispenser bottle.
*CAREFUL* Like all super glues, the fumes can fog up clear plastic! Not good!

Yes, the back is lowered. Easiest way is to make a new slot!
You can go pretty low, but you'll definitely have to do some wheel well shaving! A Dremel is the best tool for this job!
By black lining, I'm going to assume you mean the panel lines.
For those, I used a Micron 005 Pigmented Ink Marker.
Go to your local craft store (Hobbly Lobby, Michaels, etc...) and look in the scrapbook aisle. Cost: about $3.
The marker tip is really fine, so it's easy to follow the panel lines on the car.
Glad to help!

Hey DriveWRX:
In your experience what is the best type of paint to airbrush onto the bit wheels??? Some stuff I've found doesn't seem to stick very well unless they are preped(sanded)... which takes forever...
BTW... I see Pakiplaya is using one of your pics of your skyline on his web site...

Acrylics. I use Model Master Acryl & Tamiya paints.
And remember, put on light coats! You may have to put a couple coats, but keep 'em light!
Are you talking about chrome wheels? Most paint won't stick to the chrome...
You can remove chrome, easily, by soaking them in straight bleach for a couple minutes. Sometimes you can actually see the chrome dissolve! Rinse well afterwards.
BTW, this is a great way to get black rims. Bit Char-G's only, though. MicroSizers rims are made from a cream colored plastic.
