I'm not 100% sure. I just moved to japan, and i swore I saw those bodies just a few days ago, not in pull back cars though, just the bodies....

could this be true, or are my eyes retarded?

I pre-order the two I bought from hlj.com and they sent me an email yesterday saying they just shipped it, so they're in stock now. I got the Yellow NSX-R and a Blue R34 Skyline. I'd like to see if the wheels might possilbly be interchangable also.

I'm not positive, but that looks like a Choro Q.
Looks awesome anyway!

On the other hand, the Beetle is still in the plans!
G-26 Yellow Beetle. Release date: Feb. 2003.
Rumor has it that it's car only, no controller. Kinda like a MicroSizer speed set.
BMW must have really wanted a small fortune for licensing. (greedy *&%^*$!) I noticed that the Mach Go (Speed Racer Mach 5), Mario Bros., and Ultraman cars also command top dollar - probably because of the licensing agreement....
Could be that they cost the same as "regular" BCG in Japan, and exporters are just charging extra for the "special" models.

Maybe a clone manufacturer will make a (non-licensed) mini-cooper body and call it a "BWM mini clopper", like the "Hodna S2001" clone I have...
