Steering stuff

i was just wondering... is there a way to increase steering return to center after turns? cuz my bit seems to stick right after a turn sometimes...

(not involving REMs.... those arent available in canada and make me spaz every time i hear about them )

Get some rare earth magnets

Actually, those won't help. You could always add another steering spring.

I'd say rare earth magnets, you know, the kind you can get at ANY RADIO SHACK IN THE UNITED STATES.

Well, I guess you were too busy spazzing out to notice that I did give you the idea of the double steering spring in my original reply

By the way, i think you should try a R.E.M mod.

i hope you all realise that adding another sping will make it harder for the steering coils to turn the wheels it therfore would make the steering weaker.

Well, for one thing, it would solve his issue. Also, if your car doesn't track straight it would solve that problem too.

Relax, I'm running dual steering springs.

I am running dual steering springs on my fast car.
I simply added a second spring, nothing more to it than that.

The whole idea is to mellow out that tight, twitchy steering when your car has been speed modded.
Of course it's gonna spin or flip otherwise, these things have like no wheel base!

Not to mention the fact that it's just not going to turn that sharp at high speeds. (It's called Physics)

Yes, the turning radius is opened up a little by doing this, but not by twice as much, and the gain is a fast car that stays controllable, so you don't have to be "Johnny thumb flip" to keep your car going where you want it to. It also helps to have more centering return at higher speeds.

The "weaker" force you exert on a full size car's steering means IT doesn't flip or spin at high speed either.
