inconsistent motor
I have microsizer s2000 and when the motor runs it seems to speed up and slow down every couple of seconds, even on a full, fresh battery charge. I've gone through and cleaned it several times, didn't help. I've also tried letting the motor run for a while with the wheels off the ground like some other people said to do to warm up the motor and clear out junk that might be in there. That didn't fix the problem either. Can anyone give me some advice? do i need a new motor? Or could it be the battery, or maybe the cars main board it's self?
Thanks

I dont know what the answer to ur problem is, but im having a similar problem. BOTH of my 2.6 motors oly run at like 1000 rpms,, i have switched them around and put in the 2.2s but they still olny go REALY slow. Then i got an R-Spec (motors pretty cool) and it works fine, but i want to use my 2.6 which (when its working) has more lower end. HELP!!!!!!

I got the same problem with my 2.2 in one of my bit char-g. Slows up, then speeds up.

what brand 2.6 are you guys using? the microsnap 2.6, bit char-g 2.6 or kit racer 2.6?
i know technically they're all the same, but this is what i found out:
my kit racer 2.6 motor was actually faster than the bit char-g 2.6.
when i had the bit char-g 2.6, it was slow compared the bit char-g 2.2. the 2.2 kicked its ass majorly. but after getting a 2.6 from the kit racers, and testing it against the bit char-g 2.6, the kit racer motor was noticably faster.
for about $2-6 depending on location of target, you can pick up a kit racer with a 2.6 and give that a shot.

The 2.2 that came in my Skyline MS was bad to start with. It just ran like shizz, but I never knew anybetter. When I got my 2.6 I was like WHOA.
Anyway, Microsnap is the motor that comes with KIT racers, which are the motors that come in Microsizers and Bits.
So technically they ARE the same....yeah, they're the SAME MOTOR. Same manufacturer. Other manufacturers are Bitmod and Darkside (dark something, I think its darkside).

I dunno if this would apply to your situation but my car was starting to slow down and when I looked it over I could see there was alot of lint in between the motor and axle. After removing it full speed was restored.

My 2.2 from my microsizer was **** to start with. From the day i opened the package it ran VERY slow and with no torque to climb anything.
The funny thing is i did email microsizer and asked if there was anything i could do about it. The response i got "Every motor is actually the same!" <-- Ya well thanks for that little bit of information courtesy of customer service. It just made me mad becuase she was basically implying all microsizer motors are 100% the same and they never get product defects........ya right
I'm not sure if there is anything you can do though, as in most clones too, you get good motors and you get bad ones.

Well i contacted Microsizers earlier about a steering issue and they are sending me a new chassis. so hopefully the 2.2 motor on the new car will be a good one, if not i'll just buy a motor upgrade.
P.S. has anyone tried the motor leveling screw idea...?
