yay! 2.6!!

weeeeeeee!!!

the freakin japanese hobby shop is sooo slow................

so i just ran down to another store and got a microsizer's 2.6... it seems actually pretty fast.. fast enuf to pull donuts with medium tires and stock magnet steering...

hehe k im happy now

it may not be a monster in torque, but the speed is almost uncontrollable on anything smaller than just floor...!

is everyone else's 2.6 kinda sorta like this?

When you donut, do the tires have zero dust on them? Cos when I have dust on my 2.2 booster set I can donut but without dust it's pretty much gripped up.

hmmm, well the stock tires on bit char-gs are FREAKIN sticky.. but they get dirty after like 20 seconds of run, so with those donuts are easy...

with hard back and soft front, the back slips good for really tight turns at top speed, but im not sure if it's my battery or something, im not pulling them like i used to!

ohh and Plzzzz oooomg... on my rear axle, the wheels (if i twist them kinda lightly) can spin in different directions... not EASILY... i dunno if it matters much, but has anyone else had this problem?

ahh.. kk... thx silent!

if it gets too bad then i'll do that, but for now, i think it's fine...

i dunno what happened, but soft tires up front and medium (from the tireset) + 2.6 = no turns, only donuts!

Nice mod! Hope you didn't pay too much for the engine though. KIT Racers are less than $10 at Walmart and come with more extra parts and either a 2.2 or 2.6 engine. Have fun with it!

hmmm i cant find those kit racers ANYWHERE! seriously!

argg it's annoying.. =\

i got the engine for ... 16 bucks... ahhh i couldnt wait... ><"

it's a microsizer's engine, and i dunno what i mgonan do, cuz if the hobby shop gets the 3.0s in, i mite bring this 2.6 back and say it didnt fit..

heh, i'll have to go hunt down those kit racers somewhere...

hmmmmmm btw C_CRX, are any of you guys planning to buy anything from Bitmod1? cuz they got the nicest stuff there... i was thinkin about a 3.5 and a NiMH battery, but the shipping's gonna eat me alive... you guys wanna band together and buy some stuff all in one shipment, and split the shipping?

Did you try Toys R Us? Their prices were high at $17 for a KIT but that's only $1 more than you spent but you would have got more bang for the buck. They had probably 30 or more at the Toys R Us here!

Haven't checked bitmod1 out yet. Are they Canadian? I know for sure that buying anything accross the border is going to rape you no matter how you cut it so I deal strictly within Canada over the net.. I think I may be able to source some 1/3AAA NiMH in our area. Another idea may be investing in a nice peak charger, i hear it makes a world of difference. I'm already gonna order probably 20 or so rare-earth magnets and will have enough left over to sell to other, at probably ~$1 a piece, if not less!! Just need to find out what size we need... Keep me updated on the potential groupbuy, I'll be gone for a few days (wed/thurs) so I'll check back then.

hmm newp... toys r us... havent been down there in a while, and i have nooo idea why i didnt go...! lol

hmm i dun think bitmod is actually canadian.. yeah, it's based in california....
ah well.. hmm if you can actually hit those magnets and battery, i'll buy some off of you just like that **snaps fingers**! i been looking all over the place for the magnets, but nobody has them... some radio shack's MIGHT, but i asked the people, even gave them the part number, and bleh, imcompitence all around..

i'll go give the shelves a close look sometime after school starts, but it wont be for a while... hmmm im not sure if i can find and sellers in canada for.. well, anything! but i'll keep lookin around.. keep me posted

C_CRX i'd definetly be interested in thoes batteries and maybe even a 3.2 or 3.5 motor from dks. They soudn like they are the best but shipping is already 6 bucks for anythign under 10 dollars and we still woudl have to pay border fees. That would add up in a hurry i think.

But let me know or shoot me an email.
thanks
