Mini z
I know this isn't the Mini-z forum, but my registration was delayed with minizracer.com. I'm wondering if anyone that knows a genuine kyosho mini-z would look at this and tell me how authentic it is....
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...ndexURL=0&rd=1
I actually bought this thing. If its not authentic, I don't think I'm going to pay. The headline says "mini-z" so I don't know. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a feeling its not a Kyosho, but a knock off....

Look man, If you didn't know what to look for, and you honestly thought you were getting a good deal, AND you emailed the seller asking him, AND the auction ended in like 9 minutes, AND the price stayed the same until then, then people started bidding, what would you do. There's gonna be flaws in just about everything. At least in my world. Do you agree with this guy calling it a "mini-z car" and in the description it says "full function, remote sells for $49.99 alone," and so on? On that site, it says the remote serves no purpose. Who's making Ebay a better place?
See, after this all happened, I did some reasearch. Do you know that the only thing Ebay can do is issue a warning to me. This isn't your normal freeworld market here. If you walked out of Wal-mart (or wherever 16y/o's hang out at these days) and didn't pay for something, would they just 'warn' you? I think not. The reason I'm just getting a warning is b/c these things happen. This guy might not even know he's selling janky stuff. I'm sure I'll find out for you though.
The lesson here people- DO SOME RESEARCH!
--I should have (no problem admitting it, I got rushed a little)
--my buddy here should have(at least asked me some q's)
--and possibly the seller should before he describes products

If I didn't know what it was, or if I wanted it, I wouldn't bid on it. Simple as that. This 16 year old knows that much.

Have you EVER worked for your own money? And for the record (for the 2nd time) I THOUGHT I knew what it was, and I DID want one. What part of that do you not understand? Sad little boy.
I tell you what, I've got a Mini-Z for sale. You should check it out. I saw you were interested in another forum, so why don't you ask mom to buy it for you.
But no, you won't do that NOW will ya? Another question....do you own, or have you ever owned anyhing in ANY of these forums? If so, you should put them on your profile. If not, go to www.bolt.com and play with my little brother, adults are talking here.
Look, sorry to all the other members. I'm pissed I even bid on this thing, and I don't really need this little kid telling me he would have made a better choice.

Are you threatened? Is that why you've resorted to name calling? By the way, no, my mommy will not buy me a mini-z. She will not buy me "cool" clothes. She will not buy me a car. She will not pay for my hi-fi hobby. She will not pay for gas. Guess what? I have to pay for my hobbies by myself. To me, what you just said is a slap in the face. I apoligize if I have offended you. I only meant to say that before you bid, know what you are bidding on.
EDIT: Yes, I do have a bit char-g, an extra engine, and I'm in the process of modding it.

Come on guys, no need to argue! mcbusiness has every right to refuse this auction, because of this:
Quote:
|
Introducing the MERCEDES CLK REMOTE CONTROL CAR W/ REMOVEABLE BODYThis is a MINI Z. Please take a look at the picture
|
It says word for word "This is a Mini-Z". In addition, in the image, it says Mini-Z on the Tx. This is clearly in an effort to dupe the non-expert buyer. I would bet that there will be a lot of disappointed gift receivers this holiday season when they get their "Mini-Z" that someone bought off eBay and it's just a crappy knock-off. This item is not as described, and as such mcbusiness has no obligation to pay for it.
