Hands of Time Mountain Course.
Well i have begun working on my mountain track. So far i have the moutain and the lanes roughed in. Here is a shot of what i have so far. The dimensions are 3.5 feet wide x 7 feet long. The lanes are over 8" and wider on the turns. It doesnt look like much now, but its coming along nicely

The blue is where the driving will be done! lol I still have to foam up the back of the moutain behind the bridge, so it looks a little funny there :P Plus i will be laying down tar paper for the road as this melamine is WAY TO Slippery! Its hard to see but the bridge is actually about 4" high! I wanted lots of head room some of the corners still need to be shaved, i will keep posting as its being completed!

question
This may sound dumb but are your car antennas going to clear the underpass?

hey Clockw0rk....... you have a kick @$$ track going there, but one thing i think you should do to it is use a waterhose to line the outsides and insides of the lanes.......
if you use the waterhose, then cars with bad steering or whatever other reasons can just follow along the wall and not get stuck like they would on your foam...... but remember, if ya follow the wall you wont be as fast as the other GOOD drivers..... i've done this idea myself and it works, so think about it man............l8r

Tar paper seems a little rough to use as a road .
Might wear on your tires .
The track is awesome though .
