First remove the body, then remove the clear plastic cover over the PCB. Now carefully lift that up and out of the way taking a LOT of care not to break in of the hair-thin wires connected to the PCB or your steering really WILL be screwed up. Now get a small phillips head screw driver (not sure what size) and remove the screw opposite the battery. Now just lift where you just removed the screw (it'll snap off so you'll need a little force) and there will be a small black plastic arm that has the magnet attached to it (in between the two copper coils). Hope this helps and I can take pictures if you need visual aid.

If your steering is fine than your magnet is pretty well centered. Is your car veering to the left or right?
psydeath: So your magnet is perfectly centered on the arm? If so than you have some sort of other problem. Try cleaning out the car and checking especially for little hairs and stuff in there. And is your car a Microsizer or a Bit Char-G?

if it's brand new than I'd call up the shop you purchased it from and try to exchange for a new one. It sounds like you got a bad unit unless anyone else has a better suggestion or something else he can try.

my car i think goes straight, its just that while i press forward it just turns in circles. i think its drifting, cause of the speed.
when i slow down and press forward, sometimes it goes forward,
it always does though when i put some water on the tires. should i put some of those bit racer tires on for more grip? which ones are the best for the grip, soft, medium, or hard?
