my poor bit
after i used WD-40 and grease on my bit, the rare axel seems to slip of it place and my bit became noisy, i think it's a result of the axel pinions not touching the small pinion in a proper way, one of the mates told me WD-40 and grease eats plastic, how can i fix this ? i think it's imposiable ...

buy a cheap clone. use the gears and pinion from that. or just use the clone. use graphite. it doesnt attract dirt and doesnt eat plastic.

it's not about my gears it's about the chassis, i have the gears set i've tried different gears ... and still the same problem ... i think WD-40 made the axel place abit bigger ...

oh ive had a few cars do that. you can either try superglue but that doesnt usually work or some washers or something.

a temporary fix is to wrap cigarette pack foil around the axle. but that isnt permanent and you will lose a little torque.

straight up aluminum is too rigid. cigarette foil is smoother and bends better. try some other kind of paper.

u messed up that loctite skyline??
crap
this will prolly not help but,
take what u can from the totaled one
(well everything u can take off from the chassis such as motor
heatsink, all of the gears pinion, idler, axel etc.)
also take of the front steering knuckles, front rims and all
(if u really want to keep that really cool look=).
with the black rims and all.
then buy another bit and re-install everything u took off
there
that help???

I know that WD-40 makes things extremely loose, the reason I won't use it again in my minivan. As for your bit char-g, I suggest using a little soak water to wash the grease and WD-40 off (that is without soaking the chasis, take a paper towel and moisten it with soak water and pass it where the axle fits.). As for the loose axle, somebody else on the forum mentioned a way to rebuilt the axle clips with glue.
