Will they fit
im getting some lights soon but im not sure if they will fit, because i was looking at my AE86 and noticed that the theres only a small spece between the light housing and the actuall body im guessing 3mm by 3mm, but ive seen the lights on other AE86, so can anyone tell me how they did it????

the lights that i'm using are 3mm, and they just fit with a bit of room left, but not much.

nope i don't have pictures of it yet.
but all i did was just solder the wires together, then i just made sure that it was taped to the body.

I HAVE LIGHTS IN MY AE86
hey i took a sewing needle and melted the a hole in the plastic that gets in the way where the light should go then i used tiny light bulbs that are about 1mm long that i got from a train hobby shop soldered a switch to the wires used a 1.5 battery and believe it or not the lights a fairly bright and they dont add a lot of wieght nor did the mod cost me alot it cost me five bucks for everything ill post some pics later my camera is charging right now so maybe i can post them tonight hope this helps
