Just for some input, I have a Shen Qi Wei ($20) and a Bit Char-G. My Shen Qi Wei is faster and louder than my Bit, but my Bit handles better, and feels more durable in quality.

id like to compare my Super Racing bullet clone to a bit. it is way faster than my zipzap or another cheap clone i got. the front wheels are made very well,. they spin very freely but dont feel like they are gona wobble off. it pops wheelies sometimes with the body on or off. it was only 14$. and it handles exactly how i want it to. another kicker is it has a 5minute+ runtime. the only drawback is the range it gets(5-10feet) im gona go race it against my friends zipzap tomorrow.hehehe

My money is on the Shen. If you dont own BOTH you cant offer an informed decision. You are just blowing smoke. I do own both and would choose the Shen hands down. But.... I still drive my Microsizer 2.6 when I need a brake from all the speed baby!!

I got one of these bullet things too
I have a bullet clone and a microsizer. I must say though the bullet beats the crap out of the microsizer when it comes to speed, at least double. Unfortunately i couldn't run the tomy motor 2.2 in it to see the difference, it just wouldn't work. And the clone motor wouldn't fit into my microsizer. My conclusion for the major differences in speed are the gear mesh, the clone has a very loose gear mesh but the microsizer's is much more tighter, even when lubricated my microsizer cannot catch up.
The car can't steer for beens, because it's too fast and the steering parts are lousy. and the steering doesn't center sometimes meaning a very hard time drive soemtimes
The wheels might be the thing i hate about this clone because they are so poor in quality, not even painted fully and the axel isn't properly centered.
The tires and body may be the best thing about the clone, tires are extremely sticky, and the body is like a real rx7, no real complaints here.
Quality of the chassis and misc parts is alot lower, the anntenna can't even fit into the special slot on the clear cover because its so thick. The plastic seems cheaper and nothing seems to fit right other than the drivetrain.
All in all the bullet is a pretty good deal, half the cost of a microsizer yet fast, if only the quality was better i would be driving it more, oh well at least they make good bits to jump off stuff.

Will the Shen bodies fit on the MS chassis or vice versa, my problem with the Shens are the bodies that don't look like any car and the stupid decals?

yes these shen que things are interchangable body wise. Oh and you can rip those ugly decals off if you want, personally i would do the same.

Sniper I agree about the steering being looser, I added rare earth mags and this helped a bunch. My Shen goes a lot straighter than my Msizer. I use my msizer(daily) for tight tabletop races. All in all I am very pleased with both and think everybody should have a few of each in their arsenal.

Shen all the way
Ive posted this opinion i dont know how many times. i have three cars a shen, bit, and zip/wshen pcb. the shen smoks all my cars in speed. i put the earth magnets for the sterring and i helped a bunch and a new batterie.the only drawbacks i saw was the sterring at first and the noisy gears so i ripped off the gear of my zip motor and put in on shen motor and no more noise.this convorsation can go on for years and people will still not agree.Im 24 and too old to play with toys so my gf says.but i love these things so imma keep on playing hehe.and i think i read the othr post correct you said you cant transfer the m/s motors to the shen i dont know about you but mine works fine with the m/s 2.6 it has more top speed than the origanal motor in the shen. and the drifting is off the hook. For gear lube i use hair clipper oil it works good. i use some floor cleaner on my hard wood floor to proform the infumouse drift.

hiero, I was wondering what brand of batteries your Shen likes the best. I was very suprised when my 8 pack of generic batteries ran out and I started using Energizer MAX's. Wow what a difference, longer run times at least 1 1/2 mins longer and the speed increased somewhat also. Actually I would like to know what brand everybody uses?

the shens should fit the microsizer bodies but it may depend on the quality of the plastic, the one i got was pretty bad so unfortunately the ms bodies woulnd't fit, but the clone body fit my microsizer fine. but the scales are the same so if they fit, great, if they dont' you may need to do some hacking to the body.

does anybody know if the aftermarket motors will fit in the shens? Such as the BITMOD1 or the DKS motors. Or how about the tires, gear sets, suspension kits? If these parts don't fit, i don't know weather or not they are worth it. I don't wanna have to make my own tires, or do mods in order to get the parts to fit. That is half of the fun of the MS or BCG's.
