i just tryeid putting zz back and front wheels on my bit, it didnt go as good. . it made wide turns and makes sudden stops. y is that? i tried it wit my rx-7 and it seems 2 look nice, but when i use it, its slower and stutters more. i used the blue gears that come from my zz back axel .

You probably have something rubbing some where. Did you remove material from behind the front tires like in this picture?

I have had ZZ rear axels on all 3 of my microsizers with no problems, so Im guessing something is just not clearing on your car.

Excellent job, Barry!
Both Bit Mod and picture-wise!
I like your ideas... I did the full size wheel mod myself but I had the fronts hang up on the chassis. Looks like you solved that problem.

Man, that's the camera I want!!! I've got EOS lenses that I didn't want to give up just to go digital. I can't afford it just yet... I'll just have to admire from afar.

If you turn your wheels manually to one side and try and spin them you will notice they will not turn. The tire will be hitting the side of the chassis. To make the mod work you will need to take a drimmle or soldering iron as I did and remove part of the chassis. The chassis is actually pretty thick in that area so you can remove quite a bit of material before breaking through. YOU DO NOT WANT TO BREAK THROUGH...

Canon is coming out with a new model DSLR in the next few months that is based on the Rebel. It should be around the $1000 mark.

Its kind of hard to explain a dremmel, its pretty much a tool of its own. Sanding should work fine.

Currently my ZZ is not working so I dont have any front wheels on it. You may be able to buy someones broke ZZ for $5 and use the parts.

Well my k1000 might be a beast taking pics like that, but my dad's $1000 Nikon can do it no problem, all I need is the lighting, which comes natural to you, the photographer.

Nice cars!

Nice pics!

I covet your camera. I'm an amateur photographer myself.

Neat!

I was informed elsewhere that the ZZ's and Bit's were two different animals altogether and NOT compatible... seems with a little modding they work just fine together!

Any luck with modding the ZZ bodies to the Bit chassis?

Very cool! I think that the bits look stellar with the bigger wheels!
