I'll see what I can do. I have one of the old type scanners that you can plunk 3D objects on and get a pic to upload. But, the puter it's hooked to just lost it's monitor. And I don't have a digital camera. I'll try to post something for you soon.

i posted a thread on why my car aint turning. peoples told me to just look at the white thingy on the bottom or your ZZ. there might be some iron filings caught on the magnet at the bottom. just take a magnet and get them all off. it works.

quick ? about charging
hey guys im new to this hobby so please bear with me
i have a 49mhz zz, it seems to work fine but a few things puzzle me. when i put it on the charger, the green light almost never goes off, even after several minutes of charging. if i remove the car and then subsiquently put it back on, then the light will go red.
the car will then drive around for roughly five minutes, then stop. i then put it back on the charger, the light immediately turns red and i can drive the car around for an additional few mins.
my only concerns are:
i have no way of knowing when the car is completely discharged.
and of course i have no way of knowing when its fully charged.
any help will be greatly appreciated..........

This sounds like the ole not getting it firmly on the charger problem. Run the car until it dies. Now, it's fully discharged. Snap it on the charger with a very slight twisting motion until it seats onto the contacts firmly. Hold it down if you need to. The light should go red, and then after 45 seconds or so, should turn green. Pop it off via the release button and play away. If none of this seems to work, then you may have a defective charger.

hehe! I know noone reads instructions anymore but STEP 5 on the instructions clearly outlines the steps! Step 5 will tell you when it is charged!
As Azimov pointed out, if the car STOPS moving around, pick it up, and keep pressing the controller bottons until the tires stop moving, this will take several seconds, then you'll know it's fully discharged....

also look at the bottom of the car. look at the two terminals. my zipzap came with one of them crooked and it wouldnt charge half the time until i cracked it open and pushed the connector back into place. be careful not to sever any little steering wires.
