hey kwikbb

we actually have enough for the calendar (although 2 more would be nice). i posted a mini contact sheet of what i have.

as for the Tahoe mods....I guess they worked as I almost received a speeding ticket (he just gave me a warning...and asked where I got the parts from..as he has a Tahoe also . I added a computer chip as well as a new air intake and gained almost 22hp (dyno tested). It does'nt seem like a lot..but with a 4 door Tahoe...it makes a difference.

and for my mini...my Rott ate it and then spit it back up (for real)!
I was just about to take her to the vet (i guess she heard me) and up it came (same dog ate 5 lbs of red onions, and yes she can open the fridge). but lo' and behold..it runs

Wow that looks sweet so far, nice work! Well congrats on the mods and not getting a ticket... on the contrary it's amazing what a little extra air and an adjusment to the fuel curve gets you these days.

Glad to hear the dogs ok... hey you should enter whats left of the bit in the Worst Tiny r/c contest.

B

thanks ! still a lot to do though.

i was really surprised the difference some air and adjustments do make. i was about to put my truck up for sale..guess i'll keep it another year.

my bit is okay ! i assume that she swallowed it whole. im just missing 2 tires (not gonna look for them either ).

Not yet, we're kind of giving people as much time as they need, and once everyone is happy w/ their entries we'll set a deadline just in case there are any stragglers.

Wow, I really did put some life into the forums

As for a prize, hmmmm

I would be happy if the Microsizers Speed Sets were offered as the grand prize, my chassis is at a bad state, ghetto PCB cover, antennae cover pulling off, left turn is too wide, right turn too narrow and it has the black rims . I haven't even done the cripple cap mod on it. But the speed set would not satisfy everyone because not everyone has either a 27mhz or 49mhz controller.

But if d00kie was greedy, he'd ask for a mini Z and email every member to vote for him

I like the auto modellista idea, but I think that means that Tiny might have to order it from someone else since he doesn't stock Bit Char-G sets.

How about a clone Bit-Char? LXX etc., just kidding .

No, I wish it were but it belongs to DriveWRX, he let me use his pics for the competition.
I'm working on another one but am a bit busy at the moment. Will post as soon as I get round to finishing it.

Speaking of Calendars!

You do know you can easily build one for free and this website will sell them: http://www.cafeshops.com/cp/store.as...oastinfo.30193

They sell them for a certain cost and you just raise it if you want to make any money. I say someone get an account. setup of the calendars and charge what they charge so everyone can get them at cost. They do great work. That example above I just found. TinyRc.com should put one out and get pics of Zips, Bits and all the others for different months.

Oh yeah, they also let you set up your own apparel, mugs, license plates, bags, ornaments, posters, etc... No setup fees or nuffin. Very cool site!

[edit]Here's the site that actually sells them - http://www.cafepress.com[/edit]

New Submission

hey Ziprc

i like the new submission i think that maybe u should try it without the circuit board design and use just a little less motion blur on the large car image. i like the colors as they stand out and are not usually used. anyway keep up the good work

i will also check out that site Stridex. i was just foolin' around with the calendar idea, maybe making it a 1 sheet, downloadable and printable at home design. hmmmm we'll just see...

I knew you were joking , but that company makes it so easy to make it a reality. I sell a lot of mousepads with my logos on them. Even if you only want to buy one for yourself. They'll make it custom and sell you it. You don't even have to order in bulk. I'd like a TINYRC.COM Mousepad!

stridex..

no i was'nt joking around with the calendar idea. i was foolin' around with it (in my head), as in "i did a calendar for myself" and thought it would be nice to share. something that can be downloaded and printed, just to look at, nothing fancy. that is a nice site though
