The Atomic Z Cars are very good. Excellent for the price, and the mod parts are interchangable with Bits. They even have an "adaptor" with the gearing/motor sets (2.6 and 3.0 V motors) that let you use bit bodies. They come with a 100mah NiMH battery. I've had very little problems with them, no more than a bit, and a lot less worry than with most clones. The pod/controller/display fits in your pocket nicely. Good addition TinyRC!

thanks TinyRC!
cowfish_29, Sure it does! Just like a 'real' funny car!
When you need to maneuver you learn the right amount of "ease off into the curve, then power out of the curve" balance. That's what makes it fun! It amuses me to be different

AUDI-TT: I have a 3.0 Bit CharG in mine. works fine. You may have to rotate the motor to find the most solid connection because Tomy's motors have a comparatively small electrical connection tab. I prefer the zipzap motor though, it seems to have much a better torque:speed ratio. The 2.6V Atomic is pretty good. The 3.0 is pretty much the same as the Bit CharG's 3.0V.. good speed, but low torque.

COOL!! About time!! I've had one of these for a couple of months. My brother and I found 'em in a Discovery Zone and these little cars rock! The Discovery Zone doesn't have any in stock any more, but my local hobby shop started carrying 'em and all the hop ups! I upgraded to the 2.6v motor and gearing and I bought a clone from Wal-Mart that had an all clear body and it fit on the Z-car after I drilled a small hole in the Z-car's front frame so that the body would screw on. The steering on mine is great, it tracks straight and runs well.
