1:64 dodge ram die-cast r/c

Ijust got my 1:64 dodge ram die cast

Its a nice truck made by NKOK and called 64X Chargerz. Its lika half a inch longer than a zip and comes with dual batterys in it. Its a little heavy and it not my fastest car but not my slowest. Since its a pickup I can put about 3 or 4 batteries in the bed and really make it fly. Without the body on it moves pretty quick. For some reason it slows down when turning. The wheel base is the same as some of my Imprt Tuner cars so maybe I will try to make one fit.

well it's probably because of two reasons.

1st reason is that the car as you say is die cast, so it's heavier than most cars of their size. Now i assume that these cars use magnet steering much like our bits right? Anyway the heavier the car usually the harder it is on the steering meaning it requires a little bit more electricity to complete the task, so it draws the current and takes some of the electricity used for the motor.

2nd reason, perhaps the car was designed to slow down when turning so that you can steer with more control.

That truck is sweet..I want one, have you checked to see if the motor can be changed out with a bits?

Perhaps take a dremel to the inside of the body to take a little weight off...........

It is the current draw required to turn the wheels. It slows down the car, because not enough current is getting to the motor. Probably either a poor design or it was done on purpose.
