I change my axles regularly and never had that problem. Did you put some sort of lubrication on it?

hello

in the top of the page on the main forum screen, there s a button called "USER CP"... click that and click on edit options. At the bottom of the screen you'll see "Avatar". You change or add your picture there.

i used a little bit of elmer's glue. using a toothpick, i made sure it didn't clog the slot. i read that some people used epoxy or crazy glue, but i think elmer's glue is easier to work with. it dries slower, but that just means more control. just my thought.

axle problem

I would install me gear set then I would make small wedges for the slot you could cut them out of small plastic to slip in place.

Good luck it sounds like you stripped your slot.
