Question Please give me some advice

I have been racing 1/8th scale cars for awhile now, and just recently decided I want to get into the MiniRC scene... I'm getting into this more for myself.... I'm not going to be racing, just more collecting and goofing around. Here is where I need the advice... I've been reading about both the Bit Char-g and the Digi Q quite a bit lately, and when I decide I want to buy a Bit Char-g something makes me change my mind and decide to go with the Digi Q and vice versa.... I was hoping someone that owned both would give me a little advice on which one of these minis to purchase. Any help would be appreciated.... thanks

dont get the digiQ

I own both but i never play with my digiQ anymore for the fact that the charging time requires patients from me and i got tired of its cartoonish body, it doesnt turn good either and there arent as many mods you can do now i only play with my bit char-g becuase its not "smushed' in appearance, it takes turns real well, and ive modified it and its jsut cooler too me bit char-g to me is better

i dont have a digi q, but i think id highly agree with blacksabbath on this one. at first i was skeptical just as you, but i did lots of research just as you are now. I learned that stock, digi Qs are faster, but with the electronics and multiples upgrades and techniques ALL over the net. I learned that, the fact wouldnt matter after a while.

So i figured Digi Qs cant be upgraded, however theyre faster stock, AND they have the pistol grip transmitter. Bits are slow at first, however can be upgraded to possibly surpass the Digi Q, but another drawback is its controler style which isnt very comfrable to the hand or visually appealing.

I think having an SD(super-deformed) car or not depends on the driver. Im into anime and all that stuff, so i kinda like SD cars. But then im into imports(used to be into muscles a lot), so i also like em close to the original. but then id rather have something SD as a keychain, pillow, plush doll or something, not as an R/C car. I have a quite a few toy cars that are SD(but tons of regular kind 1/72's), but i doubt id want to race something thats SD.

Im a cheap person so i went with bits, cuz Digi Qs used to cost almost twice as much as bits here, but now a store sells em the same price as bits. So it mostly depends on you, and what kinds of things you favor. So for you since you only want something to mess aroudn with, it depends on how much you wanna spend. If you only wanna spend like 3o or 40 bucks get yourself a bit. If your willing to spend anywhere from 50-80 for a Digi Q, that might work too. So thats my LONG two cents.
