Yup, I agree that driver skill is much more fun to compare than raw speed. That's why I like road races. Here's a good example. My son and I were racing on my track last weekend. We both had red gears, but he had a turbo and I had a NOS. I was much faster than him, but kept hitting the barrier due to high speed. He beat me in a 5 lap race by 2 laps. Now that's a race! And, no, he won't let me live it down
