I need to store my stuff. HELP!!
I'm getting to the point now, where keeping my accessories, bodies, etc in their original store packaging on my desk just isn't cutting it anymore. I need something to put it all in! I know that many of you say tackle boxes, etc work very well, and I agree. Could you please reply with suggestions (pics?) of brands/models you use and love? I need something that will hold at least 2 controllers, bodies, accessories, etc. Something not too bulky. Thanks in advance!

dont have any pics...
Turns out the "lets see how i can get the camera to take pics when the battery is low" fiasco damaged my li-ion battery beyond any use (1 pic and it shuts off). SO I'm just gonna give you the link to a page that has pics http://www.akro-mils.com/image_libra...at_id=6&page=4
I found it at a local Fry's (might be found in hardware stores as well). It's called the Assorter 9. I also have hte 7. The number is how many sections there are.
In hte 7 you can fit 3 cars and one spare body (if you dont mind a tight vetical clearance), and have 4 spots for your small parts. And its very smalll. This is the box I like to take out of hte house, since its real small.
The 9, is about perfect, It has 2 compartments just right for two cars, 2 long compartments the can hold around 4 bodies if stacked right. a giant compartment that can fit 3 cars in it, and those same 4 'parts' spots. I use this box for holding all my misc cars and parts.
I got both bins for around 6 bucks if memeory serves me right, maybe even cheaper.

Unfortunately, I need one that will hold at least 2 controllers as well. Anyone else?

Cabinet
Why don't you just get one of the storage cabinets on the same page. You could fit all you want in those.
If you want portable, why don't you just bring a car and a remote into a local hardware store and try it out. And if you can't find one that fits perfectly, try this:

It won't solve your controller problem but the plano (3414 i think) tackle box can hold a car and all possible parts nicely and it will fit in your pocket.

Hrm....I do need the storage for controllers... I suppose that I can customize if I need to by cutting out walls. I kind of like the green double sided one by Plano, but that might be TOO much space! Keep the ideas/inventions coming!

Have you tried a ZZ case? Ten dollars.
9 spots for cars
2 tall compartments
2 controller { zz and if cut off holder 2 bit controllers }
1 movable partition compartment
Spot for cars in own swing open that gain access to big controller compartment.
Note anything thicker than a Bit controller wont fit. Micro Blast wont fit.
It not perffict but does some what work.

Yeah, I checked out the ZipZap case tonight. Layout was fine, but the quality was lacking. As a matter of fact, the one that I looked at broke in the saleman's hands! The Microsizer case looks just like a tacklebox, doesn't it? Not sure if it's any more functional... keep the ideas coming.

Check out brianpipa's thread in the Zip Zap area. He's talking about a case from walmart. $4.88, holds 48 cars, double sided. I have one, and have configured it to hold FIVE controllers, a small parts box, and 24 cars/bodies. Well worth the price.

Strange on the ZZ case. Have droped and bang the heck out of mine.
Before I got that case I grabed a small pencile box enough to hold one car transmitter and some bat and parts. No partition but can build out the inside of it. Great to haul around.
I saw the 48 and liked it.
I dont think there is one end all be all box. Next time I raid Fry's will go through their stock. But there are alot of option out there.
This may help on tires. A long time ago I got a supply of hose washers but instead of being on a wire tie they were slid on a "T". Was thinking to cut out some cardboard in the shape of a Captial letter T labeling the "TOP" with Stock, Slick, etc. would keep them together and out of harm so to speak.
Cyberguys have a small parts box with seprat openning compartments! Be great for tires, motors, axels etc.
Good luck on the hunt all!

LOL now you're getting warmer, but I need compartments for all accessories, and space for 2 controllers as well. I was thinking something along the lines of this, which is available at Walmart for about $6:

I'm looking at #s 1126-06 and 1119-06. Anyone have more in that direction?
