350Z vs. Booster Set/NSX-R
Which of these two would be better for my first Bit and why?

A 4ch controller and a booster is nice but nothing is sweeter than the Z.
Buy a 4ch controller AND the Z package

I heard there is a thing on the 4ch controller that makes the boost stay on automatically so you don't have to hold the button down. Is this true? If it is I might just have to get the controller even if I get a Z!

it's just the bodystyle that's going to be different if you'll eventually going to buy the 4ch tx. I like both of them. I'm an NSX-R fan too. It was my first Bit. The FairladyZ is a bit more detailed tough. I like them both. I guess that did'nt help , but my point is you can't go wrong on either one. You get more stuff if you buy the NSX combo though ( but you spend more) a 1.0motor (for those extra small tables), extra 27mhz non-boost chassis, a clear skyline body, axle.etc ....
It's up to your budget.

There is a certain site where I can get the Booster Set for $12, the 4ch controller for $12, and the NSX-R for [I think] about $4.
Price isn't really an issue.

I'll say but I can't assure you that TinyRC won't remove the link.
hlj.com. I'm not sure about how much shipping is, though. I am guessing it'll be around $15-$20.

Well now i'm thinking I might get a booster set, controller, and the Skyline GT-R set. I want a boosted R32! That would set me back about $55+shipping.

Now that I've gone and looked more, hlj has all their Bits for $24.xx which means if I get a Z (when they come back in stock there) + booster set + controller it'll be somewhere around $60+shipping for a Z/Booster Set/Controller/NSX-R Racing body. That's probably what I'll do now that I think about it.
