ebay

The only way to really know how much they go for on ebay is if you save and watch the item with your account. That way once the auction is over you can go to that item anytime and see how much it went for. I have watched about 10 zz auctions. The price goes way up the last 10 min of the auction cause people try to out bid each other at the last min. All in all they go for about 35-40 depending on which zz. On sunday I saw the black honda civic go for $41 + shipping!

umm... everything's relative i guess...

but there's no way i'm paying any more than retail on this item, which is $19.95+tax...

i know you can't put a price on fun, but a lot of folks are going to be disappointed in hindsight on these purchases... i suppose if you anticipate such 'buyer's remorse' and go into one of these deals with your eyes wide open it's OK...

ebay can be a good place to get hard-to-find stuff, but the artificially inflated prices for commercially available products seem to be the best proof that:

THERE'S A SUCKER BORN EVERY MINUTE!

:-)

I agree with you 100% those people are just victims of society I guess, Brainwashed consumers, we see it every year, beany babies? Tickle me Elmo? Those Picachu things?

I usually wait till the new year and get the HOT deals! I guess santa was late again kids!!! After a few hours they'll forget that they had to wait a few weeks for their toys!

I walked into a local Radio Shack yesterday looking for some phototransistors, and they had received 22 ZZs according to the guys. They had a good 15 left, A guy walked in and took 6 and a lady took two while I was getting the phototransistors.

I could've gotten a black civic! But It was 27mhz the same as my lovely PT cruiser, So I went for a yellow mustang that was 49mhz.

So with 2 ZZs and 1 Bit I think I reached my limit, I don't believe in this "GOtta get them ALL" mentality.

I still think that paying more than retail is nutz! I wonder how much does it cost to make this things? 5 bucks? I can see millions of tiny chinese hands putting this things together, just to be slowly release into our market.

..6 months from now noone will remember the ZZs.
