Welcome to the forums. Bit char-g's and microsizers are both made by Tomy. Except that the microsizers are the U.S. version of the bit char-g's. I think that you should buy a bit char-g, even though i bought a microsizer. The reason why i think that is because bit char-g's have more frequencies, alot more bodies, and alot of accesories. Even though all the microsizer and bit char-g parts are all interchangeble, i still suggest that you buy a bit char-g. The only thing is that if you live in the U.S. you have to order it online, or unless you find a store that has em. Wich is very rare. Here are some links
driftkingshop.com
sigmaautomotive.com
and toyeast.com
Good luck!

microman,
thanks for the welcome but do you know if any companies have clear bodies for the bit? i would like to paint with some funky designs and stuff. what is probably the best place to buy bit stuff from like online stores and others? as i mean customer service, prices, selection, etc...
i think i will probably end up getting a couple of them and accesories after i build a track with some friends. i like bits because as i learn more about them they seem more interesting
and are cheaper than other forms of r/c cars.

Clear bodies aren't a prob. with bit char-g & microsizers. You can buy sets that have both a clear and unpainted. I personally like www.toyeast.com from the above post. They seem to have the largest selection. This is a japanese company and anything you have shipped to the US will take about a week. (I haven't ordered anything from them though so I'm not much help on their service)

Hey race2c, welcome. As for your question about the micro rs4, I was in the process of buying one, you know picking out the wheels, painting the custom bod, already bought the radio, when I bought my first clone. I'd say get a Bit, a Zip Zap and the Tuner Kit, and maybe a cheap clone, all on different Freq's so that you can run them all together. Weather never stops you, and you can carry the whole "garage" with you. I've been through all the bigger cars, and still have about a half dozen of them. The best thing I can tell you about these little things is that after you buy three or four of them, use the hundred dollars you saved by not buying the MRS4 and take your friends out for dinner. Big cars get expensive fast. BTW, these things may be small, but they are BIG fun.
