Hrmm new to this which Bit Char-G should I get?

Ok Ive been looking at these things and from what I can tell there are about 3 different ones that are made by tomy that are pretty much identical. They are:

The TT OEM ones that you sell at your TinyRC shop

The Bullet ones that are for sale at Toyeast

And the Original Tomy Bit Char-G

So from what I understand they are all about the same correct? I am going to buy about 4 of these things (me and my friends) so I would like to know which one I should get. I noticed that the TT ones have 2.2 motors which are faster than the stock Bit Char-G with their 1.0's . So anyway how much faster is that really?

Also what is your reccomendations on which one to get? I think Its pretty much between the TT and the Bullet cars because I cant see putting out around 25-35 dollars for one of these cars let alone 35x2 for two cars lol .. At least not till im hooked.. So which one should I get?

Admin you should be able to help me too since youve had your hands on all three.. What are the differences if any and whats your opinion.

Anyway sorry for the long rambling post its 2:40 am and Im tired and need to go to sleep.

Thanks,

Matt

I don't know about the TT's, but personally I don't like the Bullets. I have two and neither of them works very well. I'll probably eventually just transplant the circuit boards of mine into better chassis (the boards are 40 and 49 MHz...not available on Bits).

I'm sure Tinyrc can help you out a bit more.

I agree. The offical Bit Char-g have much better build quality.

Shame you cant get spare offical chasis to transplant to bullet circuit baords in. It would save money and give more frequencies too.

Here's my summary:

The Bullets (which we have by the way, not just at ToyEast ) are a great way to get into BC-Gs. They use the exact same technology as other BC-Gs, but the bodies are less detailed, and they are not as high quality as the original TOMY. However, 90% of the time, if they appear to have a problem, it's something simple, like the back axle not being popped in properly etc., and can be fixed very easily. We're actually working with a factory in China to get these direct so that we can offer them very inexpensively.

The Huale/TT Trees are pretty much identical to the original TOMYs in every way, even down to the packaging. They are pretty much just discount BC-Gs, cheaper because they don't have the TOMY brand on them. Some of the bodies are less detailed, but many are exactly identical to the TOMYs. Some of them even come with 2.2 or 2.6 motors for the same price!

The original is the golden standard by which all others are measured. You won't be disappointed with a TOMY, but, you pay quite a premium for the name compared to the Haule/TT Trees etc.

That's what I thought and I'll probably get some TTs for transplant experiments at some point.
