Should I dual NiMH or not?

Hey...new here. This site is awesome. I've got an LXX Skyline w/stock 3.0 motor and gears. It's pretty damn fast as it is, and pretty hard to control. I've done a few mods, and now I'm looking at the dual NiMH battery mod. But, I've heard a few people say it's almost undriveable. Can anyone give me their opinion? This is the only car I've got for now, so I don't wanna make it TOO fast.

Oh yeah...I know my car is a cheap clone and not a real Bit, but I love it.

Plus...it's my "learning" car. Don't wanna fudge up a Tomy.

duals are hard to control it your going accual tracks and not drag strips i recomed for a beginner put a slower motor in and if you only have 1 motor like a 3.0 add ajustable weight when i got my bit my dad does corian couter tops so i got some olf shavings and cut it down to the right size added quite a bit of weight and if you put the weight more in the front you get better handeling

Hahaha...I know what you mean.

Let's put it this way...I just don't want to make it uncontrollable.
