nice clean execution, tino. but ya gotta tell us what materials you used. your racing surface looks real smooth (veneer grade plywood or grey foamcore board?), paint looks like a satin or flat finish (latex?) and your rails are hard to identify what they really are. dimensions and if it's modular would be great also.

Nice layout.
Is that 4' X 4'? I'm trying to find the right dimensions for a track that will fit in my apartment, and that looks to be a good setup for me.

What are the dimensions of your track? It looks great. What did you use for the walls?

Hi everyone, thanks for looking....

I used 9 pieces of smooth gray foamboard ( 20" x 30" ), overall dimension of the track is 60" x 60". For the wall i used 5 set of Zip-Zaps Grand Prix Barrier. And the green parts, I painted with Acrylic Liquid paint. You can still drift on this track.
I plan to expand it later on.

Sorry I forgot to explain about the foamboard;
6 pieces for the surface, 3 pieces for theframe base underneath.

do the zip zap wall pieces snap together?

i was going to get a bunch of the microsizer track pieces, but they dont snap together, and they are easily knocked apart during a race.

the zip zap sets seem like a pretty good deal at $10 for 40+ pieces.

anyone know if the digi q circuit pieces snap together? it looks like they do.

THATS what i need. ZipZaps track barrier peices like that. Thanks for the idea. My room is too small to keep a track built all the time, and my 1' pieces of molding get knocked all over the place when i drive. Wee...i hope i can find somewhere that has these.
