You are totally correct. Even price difference is very little usually importation of a Bit Char G is about the same price as buying a Microsizer in America.

Heres an example of Bit Char-gs selling in an American store... So I bet they included some import/shipping fees during the trip from Japan to America:

The store is in California.

I found a 35 MHZ Import Bit Char-G tonight at a local comic/game shop and picked it up. So far I like it better than my microsizer. Yes I know they are supposed to be the same car but I had much fewer problems putting this one together and it seems to run better straight out of the box. hehe might have to run back and get the Mario Cart one to hehe.

Here are the Bit Char-gs directly from HK. So the prices are cheaper because Japan is almost right next to HK... So you can compare the prices from my last post:

That is true, my BitChar-Gs perform a lot better than my Microsizer. The Microsizer does not steer as well as my BitChar-G and the cap over the pcb never stays on. Plus the steering arm on my Microsizer is a little crocked so I have to bend it back into place every once in a while. Hobbico just does not do as good a job on the plastic molding. Also the BitChar-g is cheaper so go with the BitChar-g you will be glad you did.
