Question Burn Out?

I ordered my Bit yesterday morning and I also ordered a 3.8 motor and i was wandering if the 3.8 is goign to burn up the electronics or if it will burn up? I'm worried that it might be over powering anyone know? Also what upgrade parts should i get to go with my 3.8 tires, suspension. etc... Please all tips are appreciated!

Having a faster motor will not harm the electronics in any way. Putting too much voltage in the car will (I know from experience... ) but the stock battery can't pass more than 1.2v to the PCB, and consequently to the motor. So.. don't worry dude, pop that baby in and enjoy!

If you want regular driving, your best off with the 2.2. I personally can't drive regularly with a super fast 3.8. I also personally think there is no need to cuss.

Surface, surface, surface.

What surface are you mostly running on?

Thumbs up Rules of thumb

If your rear tires are "grippier" than the front your turns will be wider. If you put "grippier" tires on the front, your turns will be tighter. However if your motor is too fast this will induce flips or barrel rolls.

So Grip is the way to go

So i shoudl go with the grip and keep the stock 2.2 grip on the front and slicks on the back for normal driving then when i drag i shoudl go with my 3.8 with slicks on the front and back and not make any turns! Thanks for the help man
