- how old am i?

- old enough to know that the zz is a fun little toy that has helped me reduce stress and have a lot of fun over the last couple months while working 14-hour days on my next book!

- but i'd say i'm more than twice as old as any posters on this forum...

(hint: i've been on the Internet since 1986)

I'm 18. I'm a senior in high school and I'm getting a lot of my friends into the cars after they saw my modified ZipZap.

not so old after all...

being 35 I thought I was a "bit" old for these "toys". but, I see I am not alone. I bought a ZZ bout a month ago, then one for my daughter. I am now putting finishing touches my first track and just recieved 4 bit clones in the mail for a lil' 4 on 4 racing. I intend on getting a few close friends hooked soon.

wow i started this thread, makes me feel better

its cool to hear how many people are my age and older, occasionally i can get the wife to play, but shes very competitive and gets mad when i win, she has no reason to be upset though, ive been running rc's for years. but just recently got into the mini's. i added to my garage today, i got a fairlady with the boost, havent gotten it out of the box yet, im very curious to see what the boost really does, hope its equivalent to a nitrous shot in a rice rocket... anyway a big thanks to all that replied, i dont feel like such a kid afterall, only at heart!!!

Nearly 34 here. Wife thinks I'm nuts and kids aren't into it as much as I am. They will drive them a little once in a while, though. Family and coworkers seem to like my nitro cars, but think my micros are a sign of immaturity. Oh well, too bad!
More drive time for me.

I'm 28, single, no kids, and am a Bit O Hollic.

I've been into 1/10 scale electric, and nitro RC offroad racing for over 12 years. Even though Bits are tiny, I can't get enough of them.

Almost 29 Married with no kids.
The wife doesn't understand me, So I have to hide on my lab/room and everytime the mess from my different projects starts spreading thru the house I get complains and I have to go back to my room Wifes seem to be a very territorial species, I managed to claim the garage and a room...She owns everything else. ;( SO LEARN FROM THE OLD FOLKS kids!!!!

What a group we have here, I've been LOL reading all this posts. This one tops it off!!!

nice thread

Hello. I'm 25, married, with one cat.
I've been into R/C for about 14 years now.
My wife fully supports my hobby and likes to see me happy and having fun. She started off thinking I was a little immauture, but finally realized I am just a big kid! She can't wait for us to have children so I can share all of my hobbies with them.

I own a Traxxas T-Maxx and an HPI MicroRS4, and I have to say my new MicroSizer is the most fun I have had with R/C in a while! I just took it to work today and everyone thought it was great, some even interested in where they could buy one.

So, I'll never grow up, only older, and look forward to being able to buy more and more toys as the years go on.
